Areas of Expertise

I understand the unique challenges that teens and young adults face, especially when it comes to their mental health. I am passionate about working with those who are struggling with anxiety. I strive to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can explore their feelings and develop the skills they need to understand and manage their anxiety. I believe in a holistic approach that incorporates evidence-based practices, such as exposure therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. My goal is to support clients in acquiring the tools they need to tolerate and alleviate distress in order to lead fulfilling lives.

I specialize in providing trauma-focused therapy using evidence-based practices tailored specifically to the needs of teens and young adults. I utilize Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist client's with reclaiming control of their lives after experiences such as physical abuse, sexual abuse or assault, major accidents, or crime. No two traumatic experiences are the same and I honor every client's individuality. Through trauma work I help individuals understand and process their traumatic experiences so that these events become a chapter of their story, rather than their whole story.

Life Transitions and Relationship Issues

At my practice, I am devoted to helping teens and young adults navigate the everyday challenges, life transitions, and relationship issues they face. Whether it's difficulties with friends, stressors from work or school, or maneuvering the journey into adulthood, I'm here to help young people learn more about themselves, gain insight into their struggles, and develop effective coping strategies to manage their day-to-day obstacles. My goal is to help my clients build the skills they need to make informed decisions and become strong, self-confident individuals.
